Each year, the California Building Industry Association hosts a variety of events for its members that include our major trade show – PCBC, Governance Meetings, legal conferences, networking and informational events, as well as political fundraisers.


PCBC is the largest homebuilding trade show representing the West Coast region. The show has been running as a part of BCC since 1959. Each year, this event hosts over 10,000 attendees, alternating between San Francisco and San Diego. The show includes an expansive exhibit floor with top manufacturers, a variety of educational programming, keynote speakers, and a variety of other events and activities. CBIA holds three Governance Meetings each year in February, June at PCBC, and October. At these meetings, CBIA’s membership and leadership meet to discuss the top issues affect the industry, association activities and set the direction and goals for the organization over the course of the year. Committees at these meetings include Government Affairs, Legal Action, CBIA-PAC, General Counsel Roundtable, CHF Trustees, BRE, and the Board of Directors. On top the committee meetings the events include a variety of speakers, an annual advocacy reception in February, and an annual leadership recognition dinner in October.
